The new two-in-one technology for gas wash drying
The SILOXA DryWash is another cost-effective solution for drying biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas. The DryWash is fully assembled and benefits from sophisticated technology and a compact design.
SILOXA’s DryWash system has been available since November 2012, specifically for the target group of professional trade customers. Washing and drying in a single step – SILOXA’s most innovative solution for the treatment of biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas. The SILOXA DryWash comes fully assembled so that connections to the gas and supply lines are all that is required. In contrast to conventional gas cooling systems, the gas is cooled through direct contact with the washing water and is cleaned at the same time in a single process step. No additional washing water needs to be provided. The contaminants are permanently removed along with the condensate.
The DryWash is available for gas flow rates of 180, 260, 320, 420, 500 and 600 Nm3/h. The gas temperature is reduced from 40°C either by 20°C or by 32°C, as required. This means that the drying and cleaning tasks upstream from gas motors can be carried out with the greatest cost efficiency.
The basic version is equipped with a gas cooler that is designed as a scrubbing column, and with a water cooler and a condensate trap. The DryWash is fully assembled and undergoes a final test run in the factory before dispatch. Various options are available to enable the DryWash to be adapted to the specific conditions on site.
